Green Power effort in Webster Groves more than halfway to goal

Last summer, the Webster Groves City Council passed a resolution to participate in the Environmental Protection Agency-sponsored Green Power Community Challenge. The goal of the challenge is to match three percent of the electricity consumed by the community with green energy.  Because of the support of several residents, businesses, and organizations taking the green power plunge either by enrolling in the Ameren Missouri Pure Power Program or committing to install solar, we are more than half way to the goal!!

Most recent supporters of the Challenge include Silly Jilly, Weber’s Front Row, Naturally Pure Salon and a Webster Groves Avon representative who have enrolled in the Pure Power program.  Solar systems are being installed by Microgrid Solar at Webster University, the Eden Theological Society and Straub’s Market; and Brightergy is working on installing solar systems for the City of Webster Groves and Ross and Baruzzini.

Keep up the great work, Webster Groves, and thank you for your continued support!!

It’s actually very complex in this busy life to listen news
on TV, thus I simply use world wide web for that
reason, and obtain the most recent information.
